I don't have strong feelings about anything I said "in my opinion" I just think a defender that has "lapses in concentration" isn't ideal for a defence that is currently leaking goals and a manager that doesn't believe in corners or being able to prevent conceding goals (his MNF words not mine)

For a little bit more would rather we sign someone who isn't a complete unknown and can push our CB's/be reliable cover (look at what having unreliable distin and alcaraz as back ups did for us last season) I don't get why people wet their Kecks when someone has an opinion, Martinez will or will not sign someone regardless of what you or I say or think on a football forum!

You've just said this after basing your whole judgement of a player you have never watched from someone else's opinion.

But that is just one report - can probably find several that say Stones has lapses as well and certainly can for Evans.

how much do you think Celtic will want for Van Dijk, the reports I've seen are more that 10m - 7m doesn't seem a"liitle" bit more given our typical transfer budget.

Considering no one's heard of the lad it's fair to make a personal judgement of a rumoured incoming player from the reviews that are out there. Same way people were making personal opinions and nursing semi's because said reviews claimed he's strong in the air/dangerous from set pieces etc. So what's the difference? Two different sets of opinions, regardless of which Martinez will or will not sign said player.
