Missus sent me the shop to get a chocolate bar and she gave me a quid.
Lion bar cost about 80p but there was a fella in front of me in a west ham top who bought it for 1.20.
Cadburys milk n nut was 65p but someone in a newcastle top bought it for 75p
Still plenty of chocolate bars to pick from and decided on a mint kit kat chunky which i got for face value at 70p
Got it home and the missus was made up i never got the other 2 cos kit kat chunkys well better and i didnt get ripped off.
Then i got a blowie

Problem is I prefer Lion bars to Kit Kat Chunkey

I think we do need someone that can score and create goals that plays in the middle. We also need someone that can score if Kev leaves.

I really hope we get him.

No. They went to the clubs willing to pay them the most money. It doesn't mean they aren't good players.

I'm fairly sure if Barcelona or Real Madrid, or Chelsea or City, or Bayern wanted them they'd have got more money there.

thing is mate, hes dead at inter to all purposes and his stunt with stoke hardly drew out the CL teams, from schalke, hoffenheim, stoke or us, whose most attractive in reality?

I would love him to come but I think Finn is right. The German clubs probably aren't willing to pay as much in wages and his agent is just using us to drive that up.

The problem we have with looking for a CB is that we're looking for a backup while smaller teams are looking for a starter. Trying to get Juve's 3rd /4th choice CB to come and sit on our bench over actually playing at West Ham was never going to be easy.

We should be looking at somebody to come in and challenge to start games, imo (centre back).

Jagielka is ok but we could do better. He's not a leader and I think his best days are behind him. Nowadays he only looks like a good player with Stones alongside him.

Of course they would have but we're talking about players that we would have got over them in past windows. In the past the pull of Everton over Swansea got us the player, now the fact Swansea are paying more in wages gets them the player.

That's what I think is happening. Unfortunately the extra TV money is inflating the market and we obviously don't want to simply just go along with it which is prudent.

Still a long way to go in this window for both comings and goings. Only Martinez has any idea what he eventually wants us to look like. All I know is Sergio Roberto is as good a CM we have and could play as an attacking midfielder.

Should Inter offload Shaqiri, who only joined the club from Bayern Munich in January, it would then allow then to bring Wolfsburg winger Ivan Perisic to the San Siro.

It might make more sense for us just to go for Ivan Perisic.
