I would have expected we would have strengthened significantly before the first game, as that is what Martinez said he was going to do in this window and "get them in early".

Clearly another load of BS and whilst some of the teams just above us are strengthening, we are still clearly lacking in 2 key positions which he said he wanted players bought in for.

2 weeks and 2 days until the first game! hmmmmmm it's got a familiar look to it has this window.

Well it hasn't really, we got some of our business done before the window even officially opened in terms of signing Del and Cleverly, and clearly we've been trying to bring in a central defender with the interest in the likes of Dann and Ogbonna.

We've strengthened in part, just need to bring in some more players to complete the job.

we still have Kone as a back up striker, 2 first team centre halves and the fabled "number 10" has not been addressed unless he has Cleverly earmarked for that role.

well thats it isnt it - Martinez clearly sees Cleverley as his playmaker and Deulofeu basically replaces Lennon. Unfortunately I dont see many assists in the rest of the team

I think he'll do well for them but we'll see.

What about the other 7 or 8 top playmakers the other teams have then?
