I'm not that bothered by lack of activity TBH. While I would obviously prefer RM to get his first choice targets sorted out on day one of the window I would rather he gets his first choice on the last day of the window than his third choice in July.

Despite the underachievement in the league last season, we have a pretty strong starting 11. It's not going to be that easy to instantly improve the starting places. Realistically I'd say that the playmaker position and one of the wingers would be the only areas we're possibly going to be able to improve right away with a signing.

Yeah it's frustrating but if you had to rank all the teams on ease of buying we'd have to be dead last. We have very good players in starting spots meaning the universe of players who improve us is smaller than all other teams bar the top six from last year; meanwhile we have less money than those six teams. Small group of players + no money = tricky to buy players.

Played against us twice for Kyiv this season and looked handy. Would be brilliant to compliment Stones and Jags. Not as Stones' replacement though.

Yeah ok mate now you've mentioned he did look ok but like you I'd take these fella's as a compliment not as as replacement.

Soldado or Shola Ameobi Both available and would do a job. However I can see us signing Berbatov at the close of the window on deadline day.

Caulker gone on loan to be a back-up center back for Southampton. I don't think that would have been a bad deal for us to have gone for.
There is a reason why the likes of Galloway and Browning are not going out on loan like Garbutt. As things currently stand today, i would say a striker is our # 1 priority. The next priority is another winger and that's assuming that nobody leaves.

He'll start for Southampton. They had pinned their hopes on signing Alderweireld permanently and then Gardos got injured. They have Yoshida to partner Fonte, but Koeman proved last year that Yoshida isn't going to be first choice for him.
