Hate to see anyone being forced to train with the youngsters, sad ending for aaron after being with Spurs since 2005

Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor are not in his plans - but appears to have handed a White Hart Lane lifeline to Spanish flop Roberto Soldado.

Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Adebayor is thought to be stalling on a loan move to Aston Villa while winger Lennon, who was on loan at Everton last term, is training with the youngsters.

But with the club short on back-up for last season's top scorer Harry Kane, the Spurs boss has hinted that 30-year-old Soldado, who has failed to impress since his £26m from Valencia in 2013, may be given another chance.

Better then

Love Aaron me. Played his way into my heart last season and is cementing his place there by spending his summer forcing a move to us.

Wouldnt surprise me if lennon stays to january we should offer 2 million all depends on if the player is set on a move to everton which looks like he is which will help.

Yeah think so with Barkley in CM - everyone was really excited prior to the game about the all out attack :(

In the end think it was a rather fluid formation, unfortunately in the sense that we melted in the face of any and all of Palace's attacks.

That was the night it was shown that McCarthy had been carrying Barry all season. He got absolutely overrun in central midfield. Martinez thought we didn't need the three man midfield and we got dominated. Barry's performance ensured it was pretty much a one man midfield. in true Everton style though everyone blamed Barkley and Teflon Barry got off scot free.
