That game was probably Deulofeu's poorest game, but if I think Howard's also made a howler which didn't help.

btw - It was that game that people think was were we where "found out".

Anyone that thinks Martinez will play Barkley CM alongside is mistaken. Done it, what, once last season (against QPR)?

Pienaar sale/repurchase? They weren't great but don't think we got taken to the cleaners as such but each to his own.

He's quite clearly going to be a centre mid though rather than an attacking mid, and I'm sure Martinez has said he sees him in a deeper role long term so he's gonna have to put him there at some point.

It's pretty clear what will a happen, so why all the melty melting meltiness?

We'll sign Lennon and Evans close to deadline day when Spurs and Man Utd are willing to accept the lower priced offers we bid. And maybe Virgil van Dijk depending on Celtic's willingness to part.

We'll also try and get some loans to cover Striker and Attacking Midfield, with a view to buy next year.

The only sense I can see in these Sergi Roberto rumours is as a long term replacement for Barry.

In the meantime, the night is dark and full of terrors. Sleep well.

Offloading Saha to them at the point in his career that we did evens the score slightly, even if it was just saving on the wages for the remainder of his contract.
