Got married in Vegas in the summer and we took in New York, Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego and LA, it was an amazing trip overall but what a dump LA is, the amount of drug addicts and headcases wandering about talking to themselves is off the scale, the metro system is like a mobile loony bin with some incident happening at every stop, even the street where they have the oscars is like a shanty town with bodies all over the sidewalk, not the tinsel town magical place its portrayed as at all.

Hahaha yeah, pretty much the only other traffic on the road south was the occasional articulated lorry. (wasn't even many of them) Patchy mobile service too.

I drove through Patagonia in the snow. Panicked on several occasions about being buried in snow. Remember having to get out the car and put the ice things on in a blizzard took ages and my hands were freezing Laugh about it now but it was pretty scary. Funny thing was we got them on then after about 10 mins driving we went round a bend and there was no more snow or ice at all.

Also have just changed from Vienna to Stockholm for other Half's 30th. So any reccos other than a lot of koruna would be great!

Will do, as far I'm aware, it's masks on public transport and a lot of places in centre Lisbon are card only

Honeymoon in four weeks time. Doing Thailand for the first time, have never been out East before.

Chiang Mai > Krabi > Phi Phi > Bangkok.

When in Chiang Mai it is worth going to Doi Suthep if you have time which is a temple outside the city in the mountains. Does not take to long to get there and worth the trip. We went in a Songthaew which is like a taxi bus you share with other people. I think the cost was only £3 or £4 if I remember correctly

No masks needed here now. Haven’t come across any card only places yet either. Every Brit here sound like they are from Surrey though

Tend to stay clear of the barrio alto. Was there on Saturday and was pretty mad. Would love it if I was 20.

Yeah, been quite a lot. I say we stay in Lisbon but my gf's family is more the Charneca area, so we often have family meals in Setubal
