Seville and Cordoba are cool. There's a little bar in one of them (think it's Seville), out behind the church/cathedral that has an open space outside that has great views over the plains below. Had live local music on when I was there. Lovely spot to sit and enojy the views/music.

Malaga I've only been to on the way to other places. Always assumed it was a bit of a dump because of it (bit like Grenoble), but will have to check it out. If any of you are ever in those places, try to get to Ronda. Used to go there with school as a kid. Loved it, but never realised to recently it's actually quite well known, and some great/well pictured views.

The music/visit Texas bucket list holiday starts tomorrow. First stop Chicago, on to St.Louis , Nashville for Americanafest , Florence Al. to visit the Muscle Shoals recording studios , Clarksdale Ms. site of “the crossroads” ( stayed there before). Little Rock Ar. to visit the Clinton Presidential Library, Dallas and a day out to Fort Worth , Austin and a day out to San Antonio to see The Alamo and a day at Austin City Limits festival.

Sounds like a boss trip that mate.

Malaga city is really good. Most people just get a flight to the airport and then off to Fuengirola or similar. The actual city is well worth a visit in my opinion. Incidentally I went Ronda last Christmas, got covid and stayed in bed for the majority of the time I was there :(

Didn't get to do the tour. But was nice to walk around that area in San Antonio. Theres a short boat tour close by for a few dollars and you can bring a drink on.

Really like Malaga. There’s a mad wine bar there https://antiguacasadeguardia.com/ where me and some mates went one afternoon and things went a bit mad
We were there. They chalk your tab right on the bar top where you are standing with your sherry or whatever. The bar staff treat tourists with disdain.
Malaga is a good place. Picasso came from there.

Caught the game yesterday in an Irish pub. Towards the end some American fella started talking to me. Started off friendly enough small talk. Then after about 3 minutes he went full-on political. Talking about what a great president Donald Trump was and how the MSM is concealing how bad Biden has been in comparison. Thankfully this was with only 10 minutes of the game left so I didn’t have to endure it for too long.

Like why do you have to broadcast your politics to complete strangers in a pub lol

First time I’ve travelled solo in about 8 years and enjoying so far. Want to go out on the lash tonight but been doing about 17-20k steps a day and my body has given up on me

Just watched the Genoa video with Josh Wander.
Looks a great place ...must go see.

Granted its probably a dozen years or so since I was there, and I was only there for a day or two, so don't take this as gospel, but my memory of the place is that is was pretty much filthy dirty and rundown. I love Rome and I like Milan, but Genoa? Not for me. I was very happy to get out of there.
