Got home Friday after a lovely week in Kefalonia. First time visiting the the island but it definitely won’t be the last, absolutely stunning place. Hiring a car is a must though to get around the island, the driving is easy enough although some of the mountain roads between some of the villages were a bit sketchy at times, don’t help that I’m petrified of heights . Car hire cost us just £120 euro for 4 full days which is a bargain. Stayed in Lassi but visited Argostoli, Assos, Sami, Fiskardo, Poros, Afa Efermia, Skala and a few other places. Food was excellent too and reasonably priced, I tried a few local dishes such as Souvlaki, Stifado, Gyros, and grilled Tuna steak, also the bakeries are fantastic too and I can recommend Orange pie . All in all a fantastic week, can’t wait to visit again soon.

Love Kefalonia. Was there a few years back. Stayed in Agia Efemia.

Currently in Reykjavik. It's a nice city with crazy prices and weather sent by demon's. Heading to Copenhagen tomorrow to try and warm up a bit....

Nice, sounds like a great trip. Was in Palma in May this year, was really nice, and have been to all the others except Marseille.

Off to Romania tomorrow. Starting in Bucharest, hiring a car and then onto Transylvania to see Bran Castle. After that, driving east to Moldova. Few days there and a day trip to Transnistria booked, an unrecognised state.

Flying back home tomorrow after a 3 week holiday that's taken in Nice, Monaco, Paris, Oslo, Reykjavik, Copenhagen and Malmö/Lund.

Off to Nice later this month. Would like to travel around Scandinavia but it is just so expensive. I went to Oslo a while back but it just feels wrong spending so much an a pint for example, especially if you intend to have few.

Denmark is reasonable, Carlsberg is actually cheaper than water, but Reykjavik is ridiculous. Enjoy Nice. A great little city.
