Its the same thing though I don't get why people say this. VAR is the whole system and the whole system doesn't work thats the point.

Are you talking about our striker who has 3 goals in 16 games.. how on earth will we manage without that kind of input.. while iagree that the red card was ridiculous I don't agree that we will miss DCL as much as you seem to think.. He has had 1 good spell in his career when Ancholotti was here.. he's a bang average striker at best.. get Beto in has more work about him.

He’s crucial to the way we play, and our record without him is horrendous, regardless of his current form.

Literally anything else only affects us in that match, and losing that match arguably helps us in the PL, but a replay and losing your striker for 2 PL fixtures. It’s the PL’s dream scenario and their pigs at Pigmol delivered again.

For all those saying cancel VAR, this is what officiating for the big clubs looks like without it. You’ll never see an offside given against Salah or Fernandes ever again without VAR. The technology is no problem, it’s the corrupt refs using it to fix games which is the issue.

I’m talking games this season in general.
The main talking points in loads of matches seems to be VAR and its incompetence.

Incompetence it what sense, its the perfect entertainment package, TV viewing figures bare testament, VAR is working great as TV companies are paying vast amounts for this particular managed sport entertainment, more than ever before.

Hodgson was pathetic in his interview too. Had an absolute meltdown when he had a player sent off v Liverpool but tonight’s was ‘just the way the modern game is’.

And therein lies the problem!! We all want that small gain, we have to stop this. Hodgson should be calling that out so should Dyche and everyone else! The fact that nobody does is the reason why the game is in its condition now!!

Video isn't a problem, it's the referees being assisted by it.

Out of VAR, only the V bit works. So, yeah, VAR as a whole doesn't work and for as long as opinion is valued in football, it never will.

I personally think its a failed experiment and we should just go back to football with 3 subs max and no outside officiating influence.

What has this game become when players get sent off for things like that.

I’ve seen more robust tackles in kids football. It encourages people to throw themselves to the deck knowing everything is up for review.
