I think there are certain things that VAR is good for, such as deciding if the ball has crossed the line for a goal. Or in other countries there is tech that can be used for offsides which the PL doesn't use for some reason. But if referees have an agenda it doesn't matter if there is VAR or notVideo isn't a problem, it's the referees being assisted by it.
Out of VAR, only the V bit works. So, yeah, VAR as a whole doesn't work and for as long as opinion is valued in football, it never will.
I personally think its a failed experiment and we should just go back to football with 3 subs max and no outside officiating influence.
But that’s what happening now , how often are the big teams on the wrong side of a VAR ? I don’t mean when they play each other I mean when they play wolves , palace , West Ham or us . The answer is they aren’t , on the rare occasions something goes against them it’s by mistake like the spurs RS match and we’ll never hear the end of it . Blatant fouls , penalties, red cards and even questionable offsides are all ignored sometimes on occasion because we’re told ‘the cameras aren’t working .’For all those saying cancel VAR, this is what officiating for the big clubs looks like without it. You’ll never see an offside given against Salah or Fernandes ever again without VAR. The technology is no problem, it’s the corrupt refs using it to fix games which is the issue.
John Terry diving to save a goal with his hands going ignored
Steven Gerrard getting parties for ‘intent to foul’ even when no contact
United having goals disallowed against them when the ball is 3 yards over the line
City scoring against us from a ball about 5 yards out of play
This is the world without VAR and Pigmol would be desperate to go back to it, desperate.

Which was my point. It’s almost happening weekly; in reality, it was almost happening daily at once and still does feel like this from time to time.A lot of games recently are being remembered for what’s happened in stockley park, rather than on the pitch.

Football was fantastic for over 100 years there was nothing wrong with it, why try to change it.Video isn't a problem, it's the referees being assisted by it.

I agree, It’s never been so popular for the wrong people though! It’s not going anywhere it’s changed and not for the better. But Im in the minority as English football has never been so popular.
