I think a few on here should cough up in return for the laughs this mans near killing has given you.
I read this earlier, incredible really.https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ial-to-violent-fans-well-done-lads-keep-it-up
A top football official in Moscow has praised the Russian fans involved in violenceover the weekend in Marseille, saying they had defended their country’s honour and should be forgiven.
“I don’t see anything wrong with the fans fighting,” Igor Lebedev wrote on Twitter. “Quite the opposite, well done lads, keep it up!”
Lebedev, who sits on the executive committee of the Russian football union, is an MP from the nationalist Liberal Democratic party and the deputy chairman of the Russian parliament. “I don’t understand those politicians and officials who are criticising our fans. We should defend them, and then we can sort it out when they come home,” Lebedev wrote in a series of tweets. “What happened in Marseille and in other French towns is not the fault of fans, but about the inability of police to organise this kind of event properly.”
Calls to his office went unanswered on Monday, but the Twitter account is believed to be genuine and the sentiments were echoed in comments given to the news website life.ru.
“In nine out of 10 cases, football fans go to games to fight, and that’s normal. The lads defended the honour of their country and did not let English fans desecrate our motherland. We should forgive and understand our fans,” Lebedev told the news agency.
Everything is organisedGlad to see someone on the moderation team posting some important stuff. Not getting shouted out by those irresponsible poster and their narrative of 'English' hooliganism.
When its quite clear that there was a well planned and orchastrated 'Russian attack' in Marseille
'What happened then was a co-ordinated ambush by a couple of hundred Russian “ultras”. They charged into the square from a side-street, some prepared for a fight to the point of wearing gum shields. This was organised hooliganism.'
UEFA not looked into this in anywhere near enough detail.

The fact he says 'I don't see anything wrong with fans fighting' says a lot.UEFA need to grow some balls and just throw them out of the competition. They are making light of UEFA's condemnation of their behaviour.
Nail on head right there in the first sentence.Theyre all tits. Its that simple. Obviously not all the fans are kicking off but there's quite a bit of idiots from England, russia and france. Could the planning better be? Of course. However people could not be massive massive knobs and show up at a footie tournament pretending it the battle of the bulge. acting hard by throwing plastic chairs and bottles because theyre so unsatisfied with their lives. If fans weren't behaving like animals then the police wouldn't even need to be called.
For example the lack of segregation at the england russia game was poorly planned, however theres plenty of matches were opposing fans peacefully sit together.
Its all just shifting the blame of the fans and on to the organizers. " well they shouldve known better given the violence before the match" thats true but at the same time the fans in the stadium couldve just not thrown flares at each other.
Just embarrassing for all involved
Is Fantascruff going the Iceland game?
The fact he says 'I don't see anything wrong with fans fighting' says a lot.
I mean, I'm no England fan, I just want to see and end to stupidity like this at all football matches, full stop.
It's not big and it's not clever.
