When I was a kid, you could buy boxes of plastic soldiers, then paint them, and maybe play with them on a papermache battle field you made.

Thats the same yeah?

Kind of... Set of rules and some dice and go to war. Although Games Workshop in the wider gaming community gets lots of hate...
Some of the star wars gets big too. Basically board gaming, Dungeon and Dragons, it's all got cool because of Stranger Things.

I bought some shares recently in frontier developments after hearing they got the rights to this game in 2023.

So, to conclude - ale on me in late 2023.

@Tramps_mate just saw the notification for this. Went to check their price assuming I'd be regretting big time. Phew. Thank god I moved house/had to sell all shares in May 2021. Not kept any tabs on them since - whatever happened there?

Sounds like they resorted to getting third parties to develop games which they released? Most seemingly haven't gone very well!!

So, to conclude - ale on me in late 2023

Never played and reading this thread is like trying to decipher a foreign language. However, visited an old mate a few years ago and his teenager daughter took great delight at telling me that her dad plays warhammer. He was beetroot as I laughed hysterically.
