I may have found a bigger nerd than my 44 year old brother haha!

He is big into this stuff. Not competitive like you mind.

The one difference is you are a blue and he is a red so I respect you more haha!

Honestly I would have pegged our friend @Death. being into this stuff more than you.

Yessss look what I've started.

Been collecting since I was about 12 now, took a massive break till last year though with the release of the Cities of Sigmar army book. Very slowly building an Greywater Fastness army. My friends all collect and battle at our local GW in Kendal.

Its my retirement fund if not there is instruction for me to be embalmed, have hundreds probably thousands of metal alloy and lead pre slot base, 70s, when GW was Citidal. Strangely have some Gremlin miniatures, long gone as a company, their orc range bare uncanny resemblance to Jackson Lord of the Rings incarnation.

Although now days more Mantic walking dead and king of war Also Perry miniatures. Since Warhammer reboot.

Never played GW stuff as such and had some weridy beard hassle me one day in there shop, never been in one again, I just paint. Although, I do play Total War Warhammer on the PC.

Just had Gloomhaven first edition, from Belgium or Luxembourg over lockdown. Probably never open it...

Between the ages of 10 and 13 I used to love playing the fantasy version. My girlfriend bought me a 'Space Marine' for my 30th birthday. Enjoyed putting it together, painting it was quite therapeutic. They're ridiculously expensive though.

I just went to Games Workshop and chatted absolute nonsense with the guy fir half an hour. The only redeeming feature was that I didn't buy anything.

What have you people unleashed?

The new normal.

It didn't seem that expensive... probably because the prices are about the same as when i was last in one 20 years ago. And now I have (for a while at least) a job.

It was kind of him to tell me theres a new edition of 40k out next month so it's a crap time to buy.
