This is not a club where players can decide to put themselves out to pasture with no consequences.

We understand and will even tolerate periods of poor form, and players of less quality and ability than their peers, as long as we see effort, fight, passion, and commitment always.

We will not and cannot accept Schneiderlin and his ilk, who did very well at Soton, was deemed good enough for Man Utd, and a French international, simply deciding to go on strike in games.

He is finished here, yesterday was telling. Fans have had enough of players refusing to even try to do what they are handsomely paid for.

A hell of a lot of how a player plays is about confidence. Its a massive part of the game. We want our players to go on to the pitch feeling confident and willing to get on the ball and express themselves. The atmosphere is toxic at the moment. We have a lot of young players who need backing and not thinking about whether the crowd will turn on them.

We are talking about a player here who has been picked to play by the likes of Pochetino, Koeman, Mourinho and Deschamps. He has been poor this season, very poor at times but booing him and using him as a whipping boy is counter productive.

We are driving down his value and we will also be putting off prospective replacements. We have a reputation for backing our players and creating a great atmosphere.

Bla bla all the fans fault zzz

We want a player who tries. He strolls around like he's not arsed. He needs putting in the skip

Off the top of my head, the game against Chelsea at home is the only time he's resembled anything close to his level last season. Now he's not the only player in this team who's been well below par this season, but I can't think of anyone else that has only played well once this season except for Schneidz, so in a season of complete and utter dross he manages to find himself in a class of his own when it comes to being terrible.

However I do stand by my post from yesterday that all 3 of the managers we've had this season are responsible for Schneiderlin falling so far that the fans felt the need to boo him despite being 3-0 up. I'm no manager, but I was under the impression that good form is rewarded and poor form is punished, well Schneiderlin has been poor all season and Koeman, Usworth and Sam have all continued to pick him. Which is utterly ridiculous.

Confidence effects things like your touch or willingness to play risky forward passes or attempt skill. It has no bearing on being able to run, tackle and put even an average amount of effort in.

What we have with Schneiderlin is a player who is not bothered about being here, putting minimal effort in and not even producing the basics. The likes of Siggurdson has turned around his form through his effort and his confidence had returned, even Martina has found better form, Schneiderlin has made no effort to.

Davies Holgate Kenny and Calvert Lewin have all performed quite well at different parts of the season so I don’t think the young players have any problems with the fans.

They need booing every week for the utter shambles of this season. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Fully behind letting these gutless cowards know exactly what we think of them. Hopefully most of them won’t be here next season.

All for letting players and team know when they’ve turned in a bad performance, but once a game is done you move on to the next one and get behind them again.

Not sure what it would achieve for the team to walk out to Z cars and a chorus of boos every week. Booing the team or a player before they’ve even kicked a ball is proper weird.

How else would we let them know? This group of gutless cowards need to know that what they've produced is not acceptable. I hope other players start to up their effort in the fear that they'll be the next Schneiderlin.

Between this and the Holgate racism thread you don’t seem to like Everton supporters.
Mourinho sold him on the cheap because he saw something in him.
If he put a bit of effort in the crowd wouldn’t turn on him.
This is not RAWK lad.
