@verreauxi If you go to Seiya's site, it says he's basically on vacation and it's been that way now for a long time. I think Seiko strongarmed him out. Sucks.

I saw that too...sad. I don't know the backstory but lots of folks in the watch community really liked his customer service and offerings.

My Mrs sent me an instagram of someone she follows (Stormzys stylist apparently) earlier to tell me she liked her watch, and it was the first one she’s ‘seen like that that she would actually wear’……

I do join your wife in saying that the Nautilus is one of the few PP models that I like. I was never wowed by the vast majority of their models, despite the high-quality of their watches and their history.

I bought this little rascal last week, been looking for a while didn't see any rolexes etc that took my fancy but this one did. I know breitling don't get a good press but I'm not arsed, I like it. Got a decent deal, steel strap too for a big chunk off

Picked up this a while ago in a bundle of spares repairs, i like old digital watches, got it cleaned up and working and managed to get a correct bracelet, instruction booklet and period box, nearly went in the bin a few times as i have very little patience for fiddly jobs but happy i persevered.

Dunno, I get the impression that Breitling are back on the front foot after falling out of vogue. With their heritage, it's good they are getting back on track with public perception again.

yeah I'll take your word on that mate, i've not really followed the watch market that closely, I looked at Rolex but I didnt really fancy anything other than maybe the cosmograph but didnt like it twice as much as the Breitlling (as it is twice the price). The Rolex was probably a better 'investmet' but I didnt buy it for that. I do like the Breitling range and that's all that matters to me, I dont have to impress anyone .
