Watches

I'd been chasing down that particular model for awhile. When I got into this irresponsible hobby, I didn't even like Panerai, but I grew to like their distinctive design, but couldn't wear their usual 44mm cases. Then I discovered they made a few 40mm models, and when I saw the limited edition titanium w/blue steel dial they released in 2008, I was smitten. So I tracked it down and traded/sold a few watches for a used one.

What are you gonna' do, eh? Sometimes you just gotta'...resistance is futile.

Absolutely. Have you seen the prices of some of the Grand Seiko's!!
The grand seikos are amazing watches, even their quartz models in a league far far to their own. The craftsmanship and finishing on GS is on par with the big Swiss/German companies; even as good as A. Lange & Sohne. Some of the Credor models rival most high end luxury watches. Amazing company.

She came in but my internet's down ATM so can't post pics. They say it'll be up in an hour but we all know how that goes.

Until then, keep whoring for horology my friends.

I hate this phone...

Argh! Just over £200 for special edition automatic - I've been forced to purchase. I need to stop going on this thread before it starts becoming really expensive!

lol It's not my fault!

I should get in to the drugs business....

Model SRPG47, if anyone else is titillated. JDM model (ie. 'Made In Japan' at bottom). I guess there's a K1 designation on some models that don't say 'Made In Japan'...so likely cased in Korea, if you're a stickler for that stuff. Some swear the stuff from Japan is put together better (bezel alignment etc).

The one in the video below isn't a JDM and he had no issue with alignment and good time-keeping.

Seiko's take on "Limited Editon"...only 11,000. Having said that, it does give you a good chance to get ahold of one.

One more photo...silver/white (depending on light+angle) waffle dial.
