That watch lists for like 200K...I'm gonna list my house for sale.

Breguet makes some lovely pieces and the Marine line and the XXI lines are my favorite. I never wanted to own a perpetual calendar as I'd be too afraid the winder would stop (when I wasn't wearing it) and I'd need to send it in for re-calibration. The "equation of time" function is a brilliant complication from a craftsmanship standpoint but needless unless you are a vampire. But let's be clear: what a stunning piece.

I suppose what I was getting at is I'd rather have one piece like that than one of everything between $200-$10k, as you hinted at...which, if it were possible, I'm not even sure is true. It would definitely be a conundrum, for me...Breguet and Lange are holders of my "grails" and you're well above $10k to unlock those doors, unfortunately.

I agree...the Datograph is probably my favorite Lange. The movement is amazing!

Wow...these are cool. I hadn't heard of either brand, but yes, despite the nice color combos that Erika's provides, 87$ seems like a way overpriced option for a nylon strap.

Marc (Long Island) is all over YouTube. He's an AD for Seiko, so that's where I got the new one from since I also got a little off for it being my first order from him as well.

For $20 I had to try one as the Erika's on Holbens always intrigued me but...ffs, the price (considering the material, as you said). So, no big loss if I don't get on with it for some reason. I'd never looked at his strap options before; happy accident as his video for them showed up in the related videos section on YT.

Yes mate. Looks great! I wore it out today and I'm very, very happy with it. Will be interested to see how yours looks with the fabric strap.

I would post pictures of mine but for some reason I can't even use the got emojis anymore! The bar where you can change the text, add gifs and pictures is all disabled. If anyone knows what the issue is I will love them longtime! ?

I'm also on mobile, funnily enough the app enables the options but I still can't post pics or gifs. I did the reboot/update and so on. Doing my head in.

Love that Speedy. One of the most iconographic watches in history! Looks good on the brown strap.
