I find nothing in this not to admire, especially the gobsmacking statement made about one minute in.Definitely a brilliant dude who pioneered an innovation on a mechanism that hadn't seen one in decades. That book is a classic from what I gather, though I don't own a copy.

Ouch. You can probably get a new spring bar at any watch dealer/jeweler...should cost next to nothing. Though I think Omega uses some non-standard lug widths so it might be hard to size. Get the Aqua Terra serviced!My Onegas have had a bad week.
The Constellation was knocked off the sideboard by one of the cats and the strap pin that fixes it to the case has pinged off somewhere.
Even more troubling, my Seamaster Aquaterre advances from 9pm to 10pm but then flicks back to 9 again. I suspect it's to do with the date advance mechanism.
That's the point, it was only serviced (at omega) last year.
