Yeah I was smitten immediately. I preferred the chrono version at first glance but I ended up preferring the simplicity of this one.

Wow...quite a pressie. Great sunburst dial on that! The chrono version would have clouded that lovely dial.
I'm currently waiting for custom clearance from DHL for a new arrival from Japan. Will post pics when it arrives.

Silberstein's are quite cool. There are quite a few used ones for sale on chrono24.

Customs here in Spain have gone crazy since Brexit and the only second hand I've seen have been CONUS only sales. I'm hunting a Cali 3646 with a Molnija movement at the moment from somewhere in the EU.

I've never owned one, but my friend has worn one almost every day for the last 10 years...never had a problem with it. On the watch forums, they seem to have a good reputation for a solid, nicely priced watch. I haven't read any horror stories regarding their poor quality or repeated breakdowns.
The "Spirit of Liberty" blue dial is very nice. I tried one on at JFK during a layover...I loved it.
