Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Could someone tell me, is he really injured at the moment or is he just absolutely woeful?

I suppose both could also be an option to that question.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's not injured, imagine if it's all but agreed we're buying him and they go and play him and he rolls back the years winning them the Europa and getting them To finish in the top 4, the club and mourinho would look so stupid having let him leave for free/a small fee.

Does he have another guaranteed twelve or twenty four months at United? I'm not sure. So, it's either a £15m or £30m liability they are carrying on their books - all for a centre fireworks who don't fire that much any more for them.

Can't get in the England squad or the United squad - being harsh unwanted and dividing opinion on either side of the Utd/Everton fence. Media stitch him up on England duty, chips are down in his camp but he still takes c£300k every week. Stop and think about that....even the big hitters at City, Chelsea don't take that homeveach week. Ozil and Sanchez want similar but are being rebuffed - Rooney had that wage for 3 years. Shows how well he's done.

So, what next for him? On the not wanted list at United, no interest from City or Chelsea as was the case three years ago when he Utd to ransom.

For what it's worth, I can see a twelve month loan to Everton....we pay c£100k and Utd subsidise the rest. Throw in incentives like appearances, England recall, Euro qualifying, it'll play out as a win/win and option to buy. Only my view.

They want rid of him. There will be no loan deal.

Just my thoughts,

1 Andy Grey was a spark that changed Everton back in the day, everyone thought he was crocked when he signed.

2 Ibrahimovic is 35 and up for Awards, clearly a different player but things can change with a fresh environment and role...

3rd thing is his influence on the youngsters, I think that's an asset also

If we have the money, it's a yes from me.

Very true, You may add Big Dunc, when we brought him back. He did spend a lot of time on the Physio table but he brought a passion back to the club, and he scored some well timed goals when we needed them. I think Rooney would do the same.
