Next season I expect that our first team squad will include Holgate, Galloway, Davies, Lookman, DCL, Kenny and Dowell. There may even be more like Walsh and Baningme
I think Pennington and Browning may be left out on loan for experience as playing under 23 football may not benefit them now.
There is also the possibility of adding some more youngsters through transfers. We know that we have an interest in Sandro and I think he is 21/22.
I think the manager is going to try to add experience to counterbalance so many young players. The manager and Steve Walsh have both mentioned Rooney before and I think would love to get him if the price was right and the player was willing. I think a player like Dowell could learn so much about football from Rooney , as could most of the squad.
Somebody asked earlier if Pochettino would sign Rooney....are you all so sure that if given the chance he wouldn't ?
Spurs have been runners up twice and next season will not be any easier for them, would the experience that Rooney would bring not be worth something.
I won't be upset if he doesn't come, but I see what he could contribute to our squad and team.
