Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Everyone talking about how it's not that bad that he left, which is fine. But nobody talking about him doing star jumps in front of kids in the Park End, and kissing his United badge on the day we (as a club) mourned Alan Ball

This, what a [Poor language removed].

The most important consideration for Rooney is financial. I hope his wife reminds him of that. If he receives 1 pound less than his contracted Man U amount, (300,000/wk), then no move anywhere should even be contemplated . His children's inheritance dictates his decision...as it does all of us.
Money first, money second and money third...emotion, sentiment etc should not even enter the equation

I'm not bothered by what went on, past is the past.

In the present he just doesn't look like a very good footballer any more. He seems slow and misplaces alot of simple passes.

I didn't think I'd have to do any booing this season.

A year loan would be okay... if his wages were low but would we be even considering him if he weren't a blue? If he wanted to end his career here then he could have orchestrated a move back when SAF left.

Not really arsed if he comes or not. It's funny though how lads are still fuming at him kissing the badge etc, he shouldn't have done it, but at the end of day he was being absolutely slagged off to death (some of the stuff was actually bang out of order) he was probably just pissed off so just gave some back to the crowd. It's like they say, if you're gonna give it out................

Joyce there confirming we are trading Rooney for Rom with United.

Would be a disgrace - sick of Everton being Man Utd's feeder club and retirement home for cast offs.

Man Utd aren't showing their legend any sentiment, Everton shouldn't either.

He's past it, he's not good enough to be an integral part of any team with genuine ambition to compete for the top four. Move on...

I do sort of agree, hes not got a great deal left to offer bar a little 6 month honeymoon period where he will roll back the clock till he disappears to the treatment table for the rest of his contract.

I suppose Koemans thinking is could that 6months make a difference?

I dunno, I would rather we swerved himself, but hey ho.

You started it though by jibbing your mates off!

Personally I wouldn't do anything like that being an Everton fan but each to their own.

I was talking about Colin Harvey more and his totally ignoring of the part played in his development.

Not a Moyes fan by the way but he was the manager at the time.

Gary Speed showed how to do it the right way. Kept his stuff to himself to protect the club, proper gentleman and true Evertonian. Rooney likes us when it suits him.

Very true in the first few years he was there.
