It was a political signing and nothing more. He gives the club exposure (albeit I'm not sure I want his exposure).

I think his overall game/presence on the pitch is counterproductive.

Thought it would be the case - as it was at Man Utd.

Oh I don’t disagree at all.

But the fact he’s still, for me, been in our top 5 players this season says a lot about how we are doing this year.

It’s annoying because without the goals he scored we’d be even worse off, he’s obviously the most talented footballer we have, but yet I never want to see him start.

Thought he would give us a golden 6months, but sadly hes probably almost done, as above, hes without doubt the most talented player we have at the club, the mind is still willing, but the body just isnt able anymore, he will win us games in the future and he has in the recent past, but we are paying mega dough for a shadow of the player he was.
