2017/18 Wayne Rooney

He is a big part of the problem. Was meant to be our centre forward last night and was stood in the centre circle trying to get his passing stats up, leaving a yawning chasm in the final third. And we wonder why we didn't look like creating a chance until DCL came on.

This. Several times against Apollon, especially in the second half, we were in good positions on the flanks, ready to swing in a cross. Unfortunately until DCL came on, we had no-one prepared to try and attack crosses. And we wonder why Baines often passes back in-field to Schneiderlin / Sigurdsson.

Why is he, of all people, the only player who starts every single game at the age of 47? It's bizarre.

He's 31, the same age that Olivia Newton John was when she played Sandy. And two years younger than Frank Bruno was when he won the world title for the first time.

He'll be 32 in a few weeks, though.

He's also not good enough anymore. Walsh and Koeman bringing him to Everton was a mistake, and they might have to pay for it with their jobs. Specially Koeman, if he keeps playing him. Rooney is trash now.

Sir alex foresee his decline years ago when he bought kagawa as supposed replacement but then dumb david mo gave him ridiculous contract , pundits and his journalist friend keep playing dumb . Jose Gave him few games so everyone can see his downfall.
what posted here is what CAF has been discussed for the last 5 years, he will get koeman sacked and pundits still refuse to blame him

The team will play better without him. No pace no movement and he usually drop back, got the ball and made sideway pass. It took a couple of matches for Jose to drop him last season. The lack of pace and movement is partly due to making him in the centre of our attack.

We got to play DCL and Niasse on Sunday if we want to win.

Jose knew he is crap, he just want everyone else to see it as well , so he can drop him without anyone complaining . i remember he was dropped after abysmal display against watford

that must be from jose's camp.. he let him play for 90 minutes there.
Jose most successful achievement so far in united is getting rid of rooney.
Moyes and LVG doesn't have the balls to do it

Leave it out blaming Rooney. (Our top goalscorer in this [Poor language removed] system). Any ounce of blame deflected away from Koeman is detrimental to Everton.

Come on mate, take off your blue tinted spectacles, Rooney is, amongst others, stinking the place out.

He needs dropping, for a supposed senior player with a winning mentality who can handle the big occasions he’s been absolutely dire.

You mean being our best player against City and United? Those big games.

It's the Barkley situation all over again. He's not the problem it's the rest of the squad.
