Bench for the foreseeable future, an absolute liability on the pitch. Simple 5 yard passes are being missed and then he disappears deep to pick up the ball allowing the opposition team to have an extra defender free to crowd out our attacks. We lose possession and we’re straight under pressure.

He's getting in the way tho, there's a reason Utd didn't want him anywhere near their first team squad. For as good as he's been throughout his career he's just one of those players who can't go on well into their 30's. He's been a liability for at least 3 years now.

It's this for me. Regardless if he is the best player or not, if he's getting in the way of a team performing as a cohesive unit then there's no place on the pitch for him. This is where we need to re-group and grind out nil-nils then hope we can get a win. If a player is stopping us from doing that then don't pick him. If he has indeed still got something left to offer, bring him off the bench with 20 to go when we're desperate. God we really are broken aren't we?
