Demographers estimate that the UK population will increase to approximately 75 million by 2051. If this is true, the increase equals the population of two cities the size of London.

Therefore the UK is going to have to build many more houses. Even if demographers have over-calculated, life expectancy is increasing and there more households with single occupancy - both factors increase the demand for housing.

With just four percent of English soil populated there's plenty of space. Just four percent.

Obviously with your massive size it makes it a lot more cramped.

Pipe down Annie. It's a reasonable point when he's saying the island is so cramped.

But the island is cramped, the amount of land available to actually support the population is decreasing year on year. We're already in a situation where 70 percent of our food is imported, add another 10 or 15 million to the UK's population and we're in serious danger of becoming the bitches of countries with the resources we need just to keep our people alive.

The amount of land available to each inhabitant of the UK - to provide for ourecological needs and to absorb the waste products of our consumption - has shrunk to nearly a tenth of that available in 1750. The UK is slightly smaller than
Oregon, a single state of the USA. We have a surface area of 24 million hectares of land and inland water to absorb the environmental impacts of all our consumption - that’s less than half a hectare (one acre) each - and this
environmental space is shrinking every year.

Thats the biggest pile of crap ive read in a long time.

4% my anus.

Four percent probably is your lard arsed anus. It's true though.

Not so cramped huh? So let's swerve the tired right wing cliches and focus on a government that can't generate sufficient jobs and is continually failing its people.

Not the blacks, browns, yellows or whoever looks or sounds different.

Swerve google Ronald if you can't use it properly. Four percent of English territory is populated. Less than 3% if you include Scotland.

Do you have anything at all to back up your quite outlandish claim or did you infact just pluck the 4% from the air and think we would swallow it like ya mar on Friday night?

Such a stupid statistic, how is that measured ? Did they get all sixty million people in the UK to stand in one corner to see how much space they take up ?
