Give credit where it's due, have you not noticed the monumental upgrade in our grass cutting equipment, well done Bill. Oh, by the way, can we find a buyer now please?

I can certainly give credit for the way he's managed the increase in other operating costs, and sourcing the BVI loans. Ken Bates would be proud.

All Evertonians are entitled to there opinion but some of the negative stuff on here is an absolute disgrace and can only be the result of an obsessive anti Everton/anti Kenwright agenda. Have these people not yet realised that in todays financial climate in football, loans are becoming to some extent the new transfers? Loans used to be simple..just send a surplus player out on loan for a season .Now they are subject to negotiation and in many cases fees are involved. We paid a fee for Lukaku, and we outbid West Brom-good business. We don't know whether we are paying all, part, or any of his wages. My understanding of the early reports(and there is no guarantee that any of these are 100% accurate) is that there was no loan fee for Barry but that we were covering a good proportion of his wages. Absolutely fair enough-good business again. Bill managed to do some excellent negotiation late in the window(he IS good at this aspect of football!) and Martinez was able to use his knowledge and reputation to secure the players he wanted-good business. There is a sea change at Everton...we are being dragged by the new manager into the modern world of football, and this is good. There is no more dithering, we are positive in the market, buying and selling. Sorry if some don't actually like the idea of Everton doing something right, why don't you go and find something else to moan about, because the majority of good Everton supporters are sick to the back teeth with you.You know who you are.
Meanwhile another newspaper reports that RVP is unhappy with Moyes methods at OT. You just don't know what to believe, do you !

Really good post!

Bill is ****ing ****e at negotiating....it's essentially "we can offer you two sheckles, we're skint, do us a favour" and every now and again he gets lucky with this approach borne out of necessity.

Take a look at the Rooney deal, we were completly shafted on Europe's hottest prospect.

You really are funny. Can you travel? I can get you work.Do you know many jokes ?

Honestly this has been a very good window for us,yes there is a certain section of our fan base who are never going to be pleased regardless of the outcome.
We got a good price for Fellaini as there was only one club in for him, bought a good young midfielder (McCarthy)
A top drawer striker on loan, (Lakaku) a position we desperately needed to strengthen.
Then Gareth Barry from City, who paid mega bucks for him to sit on the bench,he's going to surprise a few this season as to just how good he can be.
Happy ? YES !

You need to end the affair with Bill, Steve. He's **** at football, planning applications, and has singlehandedly destroyed UK theatre. He's making you look bad.

You need to take a few lessons from Chico about being open minded and acceptance of reality.
Bill has got you on the run, and he's far from perfect.:lol:

We have 3 players on loan don't we? That's hardly packing a team with loaned players. Also, half our players are not from Wigan.

But I suppose 'fans' like yourself will find a negative aspect to anything the club does. I'm ashamed my username can be associated with yours. Although i do agree with your assessment of Osman.

 You're quite a serious man, aren't you?
