Their entire catalogue is excellent.
First album is perhaps a little derivative but if you like Souvlaki then I don't see any reason why you wouldn't enjoy it.
The first three EPs are really good, especially when you consider they were teenagers when they came out. Morningrise is probably the pick of them, I think, just because of the b-sides.
Third LP "Pygmalion" is a major departure from their "shoegaze" sound, its really minimal and sparse, and doesn't really sound like anything else. It's more post-rock than shoegaze. The closest reference points I can think of are Talk Talk's "Spirit of Eden", or Bark Psychosis. I've been a huge fan since they were first around, Rachel is one of my ex's best friends, and this is the LP I come back to most these days.
The "comeback" LP was really, really good, it sounded fresh and vital, and they tried out some new ideas on it which largely worked, closer "Falling Ashes" is a stunner.
I'd recommend checking out Mojave 3 and Neil's solo stuff, too. Mojave 3 was Neil, Rachel and Ian, who played drums on Pygmalion, its got a bit of an alt-country vibe, and Neil's solo stuff is a bit more folky. His "Palindrome Hunches" LP is a favourite of mine.
Yea Pygmalion is probably the one I listen to most too these days. Souvlaki is one of those albums I don't really need to listen to much anymore as I know it all in my head anyway, whereas there is no way I can always remember Pyg
I read that Neil (I think) wanted to go full electronic on the upcoming one, but the others reigned him in. So it will be interesting to see where it's gone
