….a barman in Galway said to me ‘Liverpool is the capital of Ireland’. More recently a Dublin taxi driver told me something about Liverpool having the closest Cathedral to Ireland, not sure how accurate that is.
Galway obviously.
For family reasons mostly but also because it's as far away from Dublin as possible (I know this isn't true but it just sounds good)

….stayed at the Imperial in Eyre Sq for 18 consecutive Galway Festivals, it was only the last time I went I that I got to see the Bay on the pub crawl.

My sister lived in Cork half a year and loved it. She says Galway is her favorite.Due to space issues i couldn't include all 32 counties in Ireland on the poll. But my favourite is this one!lol
