Maybe we're just crap, but it seems to me that almost every time somebody on here set's up one of these threads, which is usually after we've been on a mega run of 2 or 3 wins, then our form goes through the floor.

Nothing would please me more than to be proven wrong this time though. But based on history, it certainly isn't bollocks mate.
It is mate. It has absolutely no effect what so ever on results. None . What do you think happens. Players read it and get nervous. Or say let's lose to prove people on a forum we never heard of wrong .
As I said. Total bollocks .
We lose games because we haven't been good enough.

Hitting Europa league after finishing 12th last year will do me, Anything else is a bonus, Think we have too many West Ham games in us to finish in the CL spots.

7th is the realistic aim however even then we have to finish above all of Villa, Southampton and a rejuvenated looking Arsenal (assuming Leicester and Chelsea finish above us).

Really need to go on another 3-4 win streak to put as many points in between us and those clubs as possible.

Wolves A
Villa A
Leicester H

3 tough games coming up - got to be aiming for 7 points there considering two of those sides are direct rivals this season.

60 points will probably get you 6th place, I'll for that. 65+ gives you a cracking chance at top 4, though sadly I think that's beyond us even in a year like this. The squad depth is just too poor as we've seen from the games we've lost.

As long as we get back into Europe this season has to be classed as a success, no ifs or buts.

I agree with that but if we are stuck with the same squad after the January window then we are heading for the bottom half of the table, in my humble opinion, the squad is that poor.

We are not good enough to get top four spot....

Unless we do some good business in the January transfer window....

But we can get a euro spot which is our aim...

Would like to see some support for DCL up front in Jan....

4pts off the top after 16 games. We tend to be a 'second half of the season' team, finishing stronger than we start. Digne/Allan (and possibly Gbamin) will be 'like new signings' at the end of January.

On the flip side, about 3 more wins and we should be safe from relegation for another season, earlier than normal.

I don't personally think our second half of season will be as good, results wise, as the first and we'll finish 7th.

8th to 10th, the likes of Davies/Bernard/Gomes/Tosun/Delph cannot deputise. The drop off in quality when these play is eye watering.
Out 1st 11 would have to be fit everyweek for us to challenge the top 6 places, too big of an ask.

We're not that bad. Bottom half is on course to finish on 50 or so, and we've got more than seven wins left in us.

Present table position is about right for what we've been, but the margins are so tight that there probably won't be a lot separating 3rd from 10th.

I'd say high 60s and Europa looks like our destiny.
