Who should replace Frank Lampard?

This bugs the hell out of me tbh, he only identifies the targets then has to go back to Kenwright/DBB so they can do the negotiations. Just another layer of interference from the board so that Kenwright and co can have the final say if they want too.

Hard to argue, it’s why we are so slow, either Bill does the negotiations or we then employ agents. It’s still really old school, Bill picks up the phone to Levy, Utd etc and comes home with Dele or VDB and promises Richalison in the summer, our next player for their worst, you can tell we use top analytics can’t you.

ha ha madness. who ever we get if we sack

will be some no mark from some were lol

I maybe wrong but once the fat mess got the boot, due to FFP we couldn't look at paying another manager £7mill a year. Especially because we ended up paying Mr Waiter £14mill off.

Martinez was £11mill
Koeman was £11mill (in wages as the Dutch coach)
Big Sam £6mill
Silva £6mill

We attracted Ancelotti. If there's any ambition left at the club then Tuchel or Poch can be convinced to lead the club into the new stadium.
Of course there's no ambition at the club.

We came 16th and they changed nothing. We didnt get any improvements to the squad or a coherent football strategy put in place. We just got more drone footage of a new stadium we dont need.

Ancellotti was out of a job and was allowed to bring in Allan and James on £100k+ a week, a £60mill kitty, and got an apparent £11mill a year.

We ain't got that
Maybe not but we can offer him no players and the chance to work with McNeil & Maupay ?

We can also offer him less wages then he was on at spurs & PSG

Yes surely Roberto. He guided us to a 5th place finish and on a European campaign. Almost an FA cup final but for a illegal goal in a semi final v MU. Guided Belgium to a WC semi final and won the FA CUP with Wigan. All managers ultimately fail hence the short shelf life. its the initial impression that's important. Martinez would bring attacking flair and positivity to the place. We have good defenders at the club, we need attackers. Maybe he can pull a few rabbits out of the hat like he did years ago with Lukaku and Deulofeu. And get more out of the current crop.

He is one of the worst managers we have had. His teams can't defend, his 1st season was based on Moyes back 4 in which he destroyed. The attacking flair is an absolute myth, playing 100 passes round the back 4 is not flair, its tedious. He had one of the best squads in the Belgium team and couldn't even get them to a final never mind winning something
