Who should replace Frank Lampard?

I know we are, but I don't think you can allow a manager that has made as many costly mistakes as Lampard the chance to continue and be the one to take us down.

The fans have almost accepted relegation, the media and general football world thinks we are going down, so a new manager brought in now can be tasked with bringing us back up, and if he can save us in the process then all the better.

Post selling Richarlison, if you had told me we'd be able to reinvest that money plus another £40m, I'd have thought we'd be capable of an easy top half finish such is the dross in this division, yet Lampard and Thelwell have combined to virtually relegate us.

all this stems from our goons who run us

woudnt trust them to make me toast

Of course my brother, I do not deny that. But they gave him the funds to improve the squad to the tune of £40m net, and him and Thelwell got it majorly wrong.

We all know the whole club needs starting again, but in such a perilous position you cannot get that as wrong as they did in the transfer market this summer. Both of them need to go, but I doubt either will any time soon.

We can't afford to pay any compensation for anyone (god knows what it will cost to get rid of Lampard as well) so that leaves those unattached. The depressing aspect of that though is who would want to come here? Hopefully the new ground will entice a bit of interest so maybe the likes of Poch or even Gallardo might consider. At least we would have a better chance of decent scouting in South America with one of them. Well any kind of scouting would be a plus point right now.

It will be Dyche 100%
Yep, agree.

I think the sooner we accept it the better. In for 18 months & get us to BMD & go from there if we’re safe.

Moshiri will sell up once that stadium is done but everything needs to be done to keep pressure on the rest to go at board level. Kenwright isn’t going anywhere, neither is the CEO anytime soon.

Don’t think she’d touch us, how bout this
Lady, not been in a job for a while….

We will never be safe by building a team and hiring a manager designed to be in a dog flight every single season.

When dyche is frequently seriously suggested as a managerial successor its probably a strong indicator that it's time to dissolve the club as my levels of anguish following this dumpster fire of club have already exceeded the threshold
The problem is that Everton and Evertonians think we are a club that should have a top six manager but in reality we are a bottom six club at the moment.

We need a manager to stabilise us for a few seasons, build a more efficient squad, get rid of the expensive mistakes or let their contracts run out.

Get our payroll back in line, recruit sensibly as Moyes did for a number of years.

Sounds simple but a lot of the managers I hear mentioned are not capable of working like this.

I doubt that Pochettino sees this as a career path .

If it's Dyche, he'll keep us up, and keep us up, and keep us up, and we will be the next Burnley for a number of years
Life's too short for that

He is a training ground guy who wants to coach players

The time to dissolve the club has long since passed

Fixed that for you mucker.

Given the things we know or think we know about ££££ then Dyche will probably be the man.....

But as I said somewhere before, if Thelwell has his way, surely he will want Nuno, previous connections and all that.

Highly doubt Pochettinio would consider us

Whatever is going to happen, it needs to be sorted before Southampton though.
