Who should replace Frank Lampard?

The problem is that Everton and Evertonians think we are a club that should have a top six manager but in reality we are a bottom six club at the moment.

We need a manager to stabilise us for a few seasons, build a more efficient squad, get rid of the expensive mistakes or let their contracts run out.

Get our payroll back in line, recruit sensibly as Moyes did for a number of years.

Sounds simple but a lot of the managers I hear mentioned are not capable of working like this.

I doubt that Pochettino sees this as a career path .
Correct on all points, there's too much delusion on where are are as a club and who we are.
Take the Carlo appointment, that was never going to work, he was a terrible fit, was always going to be a stepping stone leaving us with a final 6 months of a downed tools manager allowing the squad to lose interest. But people celebrated it and some still do even though he did an awful job, 12th and 10th but lets turn a blind eye to that because it was Hollywood having an elite manager.
We need a manager who actually wants to be here

I’ve no idea who should replace Lampard, but he’s clearly not got what it takes. A change of manager may do better, but also couldn’t do much worse.
Nice guy but out of his depth. Maybe a more experienced set of back room staff other than Clement would have helped him, but who knows.

At this point i would even tolerate Dyche and that shows you just far we have fallen because i would never have ever entertained that previously. I just want someone who can manage and organise a team properly and more importantly consistently instead of the continuous nightmare of watching a manager, his staff and 11 players not having a clue what they are doing while hoping the supporters drag them through again.

God only knows what set up and formation he is going to go with tomorrow night but you can guarantee it wont work and it will be everyone elses fault except theirs.

Dyche and Martinez being on the same shortlist shows we have no semblance of a cohesive plan to move forwards. Stinks of panic, despite having months to prepare.

No way Kompany is going to take a relegation battle with a team he had no hand in picking versus a guaranteed promotion with a squad he picked entirely himself. Anyone thinking he'd even give us a sniff right now is living in a fantasy land.
