Let's not knee jerk yet again. I can't stand Benitez but I see little point in getting on this merry go round again now.
We won't be relegated. Let's settle for mid table obscurity (we are very used to that) this season and look to replace the manager at the end of the season when there will be more options

We're not mid table though are we? We're falling down the table at an uncomfortable rate, and waiting until next season could be too late. I want to see an Everton team playing on the front foot for a change, which will never happen under Benitez. We're far too negative, and it will be our downfall.

If he gets a mid table finish he won’t be going anywhere and we will be stuck with him, although I believe we will be until his contract is up anyway

Totally disagree. Benitez needs to go ASAP. The longer he stays in charge, the more damage he'll cause imo.

He should not be an option. This is a big problem within our Fan base. He could not get away sooner from us when he was a teenager and only came back when he was shot and his legs were gone. His record as a manager does not deserve consideration for a job of this magnitude. We are in a state right now but this is still arguably a top 20 job in European club football. A couple of seasons of adversity at the bottom of the championship does not cut it

was joining man utd a bad move for him? He did come back, it never worked.
I’m not in a position to say who should come in now but I would rather have a young up and coming manager that had something to prove. To be honest a couple of year of adversity might be exactly what he needs for this job. Champions league winning doesn’t seem to help
