Potter is a fantastic manager and I like his style but we dont have the players he needs to play it. Therefore we would struggle until he got them and he probably wouldnt last more than a year.

My thoughts 100%. He’s going to need time and a lot of it. He isn’t coming in and turning this squad around in a matter of months. Also don’t believe we are in any position to take him off Brighton unless he’s promised big sums of money to spend moving forward.

Does this review of the club include all directors? They are there to make the correct/best decisions, and to guide the club in the right direction. The decision should’ve been made already to get rid of him. They should’ve communicated this to the fans to build morale across the club. They also should have contingency plans in place for when they change a manager. None of this has happened , so hopefully all directors will be part of the review, and should they be deemed unfit for purpose they should leave. Can’t see these turkeys voting for Christmas though.

Im sure our loyal players will accept this style of management.

Not like they took the piss under Koeman, Silva, Carlo, Benit... oh wait.

Almost all of them came out with stuff like this when they joined. Almost all of them complained that what they see on the match day is not the same as training and about attitude of the players, Ancelotti especially.

All these names I think are bang average managers. Anyone proven and considered top quality isn’t coming so on that basis as reluctant as I am to say it, I find myself leaning towards Rooney. I can probably easily be persuaded otherwise. That French bloke I know so much about I’ve forgotten his name would be first choice I suppose but he’s not even been at Nice for a season yet so he’s not coming. He also plays 442 which isn’t totally convincing for a start.
Seriously no idea.

Seriously no idea but Rooney or Ferguson would be better than Benitez
Galtier.

He was the play in the summer. He’s got Nice 2nd in Ligue 1 now.

If Dunc is up for I would give it to him. The job would mean the world to him and he would give it everything, get some good people around him and let him coach and man manage.

Hes shown he can make awkward decisions by dropping players and even taking Kean off when he had been subbed on. These arent easy decisions to make.

Hes served his apprenticeship under plenty of different types of manager and has hopefully picked up elements from all.

Im bored of the foreign next big thing, Im bored of the big name, Im bored of old dinosaurs set in their way managers. Lets give it to Dunc, get some proper football people around him and lets go.
