Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

As for a club, we had our "oh look we've got money" moment and it almost killed us.

Getting some Sheik or anyone similar wouldn't be a game changer on the field (the system doesn't allow that now) but would just hopefully make us sustainable off it for the future.

Think that's all I care about now really. Everton still being a competitive club on and off the field down the line, that doesn't have to worry about not paying the bills.

I certainly wouldn't be celebrating like we'll be challenging City next year put it that way. It's just the way the sport has gone.

I would celebrate if they could make a really good board and system for the club to improve a commercial team just improvements like that. Stuff like that helps the club grow and bring money in. Like you say whover comes in cant just come in go crazy and bring in players,

If you haven't checked out at this point then it's hard to claim the moral high ground.

Yup. It’s pretty widely accepted that none of those oligarch types operated without say so from Putin.

I mean im not condoning human rights abuses in any way. It’s just that we can’t disconnect ourselves from the world. We buy products made in China, petrol and diesel from god knows where and the rest of it.

Just give me some competent owners please lol.
