Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

Aren’t we just in that exact same scenario now though? We could get relegated next season so why would anyone buy us now when they could drag it out and wait for a whole season? Where does this cycle end?

they want they’re hands on the new ground

no i’m kidding they want to make us great

Then he is a moron. They would’ve hung on for another 9 months if he’d let them.
He 100% is only reason i can think is the went above the value he wanted, then for them to keep putting money into the club during this whole time. To keep him on the line while trying to get the approval and them just moving money around. Is why i am still worried now about him will be after the best deal for himself, not for us fans.

Have any of these investors hit big money? I mean, big transfer budget money
None (for transfers), I imagine. We need to further reduce wages, pay off debt, sell Onana and/or Branthwaite before end of June to even avoid a further points deduction.

Maybe if we can do that, get new competent owners in and survive the next two seasons, we might be able to start bringing players to the club that actually improve on what we already have/had instead of selling off our best players and bringing new cheaper ones in that may just about see us to safety.

Once we're on a sounder financial footing and no longer need to expect points being robbed off us each season by the league, then we may have a chance of moving back towards the top half of the table again.

I'm sure it'll be a very slow and painful process still though.

New owners, competent directors, move to new ground, remain in the league, get better sponsors, then we can be optimistic.

He is a cancer to this club. He was more than happy enough to sell us down the river to those skint yokels. For as much as we rightly have a go at the Premier League, in the end when the chips were really down, they were the only thing standing in the way of Moshiri completely destroying this football club. Funny how things turn out really.

Paul (TheEsk) knows Andy and George. He respects them and trusts their motives. We are all free to decide whether or not we trust his judgement. It is not that complicated.

We seem to have more and potentially better options than a year ago which is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

Dyche kept us up despite points deductions (creating belief he can do it again if needed) and the stadium is a substantially complete structure with the really hard stuff all done.

Yes, debt has climbed to enable all of that but most smart investors are happier managing debt restructures than they are handling complex construction projects. The perceived risk is lower. So is the asking price.

Hopefully Moshiri will choose a capable option. Not something we can feel confident about given his record but we are still in his hands so hope is what we have.

They don’t need experience. They need to be smart enough to put people in charge who do.

Not sure why the esk is spoken about so much yes he got the 777 stuff right and does have ideas of the finacial side of the club. But for me he is like many on twitter what he thinks is the best for the club or not will not make a difference to me. I like the idea of the two blues in it with a partner with money then them bringing in experience at the board esp somebody who has experience at a football club. The rest can be normal as experience outside football can help bring in new deals and partnerships into the club. Shirt sponsor stadium name ect.

Youre both correct of course. Bring in a top CEO and senior management team while being hands off.

Can you envision that happening or might 2 blues want to be hands on?

@mikel_88 Esk has not and never got anything right as far as most can tell.

777 was all conjecture and he could have claimed he was correct even if they bought the club. Due to the style of his posts.

His comments which have been posted on this deal give me pause

How do other clubs manage?
I know we operate at a loss but we sell out every week, get huge tv revenue and sponsorship yet still are Living on the edge!

That 3 year splurge by mosh really did ruin us didn’t it

If they weren't Evertonians very few would be entertaining them as credible owners of a club of our size.

Its why Kenwright was adored for years by many because he was "one of us".
Yeah becuase they would not be looking to get the club then, of course we need to see what the deal is with them with maybe another joining the bid like dell. Kenwright was about the power trip being the biggest blue, i think alot more of us kno so much more than we did back them about running the club and with twitter ect is alot of ways info get out now. Always wanted to be on the camera be the star, i want to hear from them both but want a real ceo running the club then we hear from them during times of the season to address us fans
