Wildlife in your Garden

Just had this (Sparrow Hawk, I’m guessing ?) crash into one of our bedroom windows. Stunned it for a while but it soon recovered.

I reckon that the wood pigeons at the back of us have it sussed and swerve our house at the last second when being chased, it’s happened a few times.

Have you got a bird table, as they‘re a magnet to Sparrowhawks ?

No feeder but loads of trees at the back of us full of wood pigeons.

It crashed to the floor after hitting the window and just sat there for a while, then hopped up to the kitchen windowsill looking pretty sorry for itself.

Stayed there for around 20 minutes gradually getting an angrier look before heading off.

They always look angry mate, it’s those mean yellow eyes !

Sounds like no harm was done and it gave you the opportunity to get those cracking photos. ?
