Wildlife in your Garden

Moves into a new house last month. Live next to a woods. Seen a bunch of squirrels, few bunnies, one possum, and a fox.
Deer are my main attraction, there's a family of 4 that cross my road further down but just got home to two grazing in the land facing my house. They watched me park and close the garage, and carried on.
Nice ;) Bluebell Lane?

This sparrowhawk (?) dispatching a pigeon at the end of my garden earlier in the year, until the neighbour's cat scared it off. I went up later to look and the pigeon was still there, alive, with a huge hole in its chest. Finished it off with a sharp spade through the neck and it went all headless chicken on me.

…I was in the pub last week and some bloke asked if I wanted 8 legs of fresh venison but I told him it was Two deer.

Don’t feed them bread or the ducks, it can cause something called Angel Wing 👍
To be fair the jury is out whether bread, or excess carbohydrate, is a cause of Angel Wing. Some believe it is genetic, but could be a mixture of both. Either way it is unsightly and can cause issues for the affected birds as the wing is not tucked in against the body as it should be..
