Wildlife in your Garden

When I was out walking the dig early this morning I saw a group of 9 Ravens harassing a Buzzard in the sky.

Bear in mind this was in a park in South Liverpool and not in the mountains and moorlands where they normally live o_O

They were deffo Ravens, as I know what their call sounds like and that was what drew me to them.

We've had jackdaws here for a while, but last few days I've noticed a couple of ravens for the first time. Like you say, very different call.

There was a nesting pair on the Anglican Cathedral a good while ago, but I’ve only ever seen the odd one now and again anywhere else in Liverpool.

Has anybody ever laid their own flags? If so how hard is it? Labour costs so much for jobs around the house.
Watch a few YouTube videos and you'll see how easy it is. Just a bit of hard work digging out then being careful laying the new flags.

I'm having 65m2 of paving laid next week and it's costing £1,200 of labour and about £2k in materials. I just can't be arsed doing it myself.

Yeah it's pricey isn't it. Yours is a big area isn't it.

It's the area around the gutter and having enough angle to drain water that sounds a bit complicated.

Sounds like you'll need a grinder for cutting the flags. If you've never done it before, you'll need some practice.
