Interesting. I thought we were imperious second half and limited their chances a lot but the first half almost bored me into a coma.
His reasoning was based on the fact we were missing several key players and half a dozen others were playing out of position.

It was a masterclass by Ancelotti of team organisation/preparation.
Including changing back 3 to back 4 depending upon whether we were attacking or defending .

Regrettably, I personally, didn't see the game.

"Biased against Keane" ?

Or, I can assess a players strengths and weaknesses.

"Didnt watch the match" ?

I watched the full game this morning.

Other than the headed goal, I dont feel Keane was as dynamic as Doucoure, Iwobi or Mina.

Its really quite simple.
1. Yes. You’re not willing to admit you had Keane totally wrong. His passing is good, positioning good, tackling good, and he’s popping up with goals. Literally won us the game yesterday but he’s not even in your top 3... He’s been legitimately good for the entirety of Carlo’s time at Everton with the exception of a few games that of course you jump on as some sort of justification for your old views.

2. Doucoure got skinned for their goal and was far from motm yesterday, so yeah, doesn’t seem like you watched it.

The thing is because of the uncertainty about Pickford in the air we sit quite deep, so pace at the back isn't currently a problem. I agree with you though, if we get a better goalie and push further up the pitch we will need a fast centre back and that should be Godfrey. Not sure where that leaves Holgate?
Partnering Godfrey.

I was going to add that 'Including' but have given you and Moyes the benefit of the doubt because he once played Hibbo as a Centreback Vs City...and it worked
And he did instigate the very similar 4:6 system.
And the Five Right Backs formation in Europe.

I've noticed this sh1t as well this season. This is how they keep the established order. For arguments sake a 10% advantage where they can over season to the established order and -10% to the outsiders. Be it 2 extra minutes when we're hanging on, free kicks in good areas. Absolute wind up. I will never forget that game against United when we were getting beat 3-1. Lino puts up three minutes, which was questionable. We scored 2 goals, which. Should add 30 seconds each for starters, there was at least one corner as we cleared and countered. Jags I think it was through for a half chance and the ref blew the whistle before the shot after about 3 mins 40. Unbelievable.
