World Cup 2022

I've seen the BBC's trailer for the World Cup twice now and both times it struck me as really odd. It felt like it was saying the World Cup is an inconvenience but we may as well get on with it. Really low key, dull, no excitement. Did anyone else get the same impression? I just don't know what they were going for:

Howe is long gone opportunity now.

Potter is the one which fits, and has the lowest transition time. Wonder if it’ll come to it. I’d be very interested to see if he fits the mould?
I guess Howe will get a go another time. Potter seems to have a similar long term outlook to Southgate but is probably a better coach.

Who exactly do they have? They have KDB, who is in all fairness a top world class player and a world class keeper, but except those two who exactly do they have?
They have these guys

This Belgium is weaker than the one from past few competitions, as you say KDB and Courtois and thats it. Hazard who was top player at the last World Cup is now finished player, Lukaku is on the down (and injured), Witsel in bad form, Toby Alderweireld also.

i see what you mean very low key. Just individuals looking depressed.

They have KDB, its more than enough.

Courtious, KDB, Witsel, Mertens, Lukaku, Hazard, Meuniuer, Tiellemans.

Now granted some of those best days are well behind them, but if they show up, they should be upstoppable.

But crap manager is crap.

I think most media channels have seemed a little embarrassed to promote it too much.

In World Cups gone by you would have the more trailers starting about a month before the start.
