You ITK?

For what it's worth, I read this morning that Brighton are prepared to pay north of 30mil for minty man & they are now favourites to get his signature.

I guess it will give him the chance to visit that laneway where Jimmy shagged Steph in Quadrophenia.
I think that's a better idea. If we could somehow get £30m for DCL and they sell Minteh to Brighton for £30m, it gets rid of any psr worries and we can buy 3 or 4 young players with that money, or a new centre forward to replace DCL.

Think we had our chance some days ago to get this lad, but either we baulked on his valuation or dcl's.
He seems to have kudus, diaz vibes about his pace and trickery and it will be a blow not to have his type of player available.
( Instead of the 'we need a goal, so replace harrison on the right with ashley young')

Just sucks we seem to never get those type of players over the line.
They usually cost that extra bit more for the type of player they are or could be, which is something we struggle to deal with. Hence why the kudus, diaz, gnonto deals fall through. As we keep haggling, others steal in.

If we have to sell Dcl anyway because he does not want to sign a new contract it’s a no brainer to get the swap deal with minteh over the line.
Even if we have to sell Dcl for 20-25 million, we have the chance to get a player we wouldn’t even be able to think about in a normal, psr-less world.

Shame we pissed all that money up the wall early in Moshiri's reign. Been hampered ever since.

The sort of signing we should have made when we were wasting it on Walcott, Schneiderlin, Iwobi, Gomes and various other cast offs from the top clubs.

Young, ambitious and on an upward trajectory.
We did make those signings at the time as well though

They need someone out the door by the sounds of it.

A few journos now reporting they were willing to sell Gordon to the RS but they wanted Quansah is return. Wasn't he their player of the season last year? Sounds like they desperately need a sale.
