Why we play with 2 defensive midfielders ill never know,we need some pace in the side and with Lookman and Mirallas people wholl run at defenders,Gylfi in the middle spreading the play around with Tom doing the box to box stuff,Wayne playing off DCL and i reckon we would get the 3 points againt Bournemouth.

Because there are far too many options for his position. Conversely, Baines makes every single one despite being useless. Shows how unbalanced the squad is.

I think it is time for the more experienced players to step foward, and we need to be hard to beat, defo think 3 central midfielders...... The youngsters will benefit being in a more succesful side not a struggling one. I would replace Williams and Jagielka, none fill me with confidence.

Solid when out of possession, and can become a 4-3-3 when in possession just by pushing the wingers on. Just my opinion.......

Unfortunately the best XI is really matchup based, at this point, because we haven't seen enough quality from very many to say they need to be in the side. I'm also not in favor of both Rooney & Sigurdsson and playing 2 DMs, but if Schneiderlin can move and pass like yesterday, he still offers more than Davies. It's the attacking players that are a real mess at the moment, and it's not clear which setup works, but the current one does not. I'm waffling, but I think Rooney needs to be binned for a more traditional front.

Rooney needs to play as our main CF. I think yesterday showed he is our best option there. Sigurdsson behind him. Would like to see Holgate at CB and Kenny at RB against Sunderland too.
