Personally, I feel we need to separate the reasoning behind Gbamin and what occurred: he looked a promising player, but our failings and poor luck ruined it.

Additionally, Schneiderlin came as a decent player and performed okay at first, but it dissipated. Some of the others on this list can't even get to that level.
I couldn't leave them off that list, gomes cameo last night just kept him off it lol.

Forget wages , by my very rough calculations about £275 million spent in transfer fees and received about £15 million when sold.

None of them ( with the exception of Mina when fit and Iceland ) made any contribution whatsoever on the pitch.

That's why we are in the financial mess that we find ourselves.
