So imagine that we loose Kean, Richy and James in the next few days - and get £100 mil (factoring in the £25 mil. the obligation to buy Kean). And looking at the players we have been linked with we might end up with:
- Saint-Maximine
- McNeil
- Maupay
- Patterson
- Jebbison
Would that not...
I really really don't rate Townsend, but a one year deal is okay. He is more suited for the wing than Bernard or Iwobi so could surprise a few incl. me.
Very simple now, he is the manager of our club and he deserves to have our backing from day one.
We have to give him the benefit of the doubt and let him get to work.
We should be all over Renato Sanchez from Portugal/Lille - the prototype midfielder we need.
Also - and being Danish I am biased - Joakim Mæhle from Atalanta and Mikkel Damsgaard from Sampdoria, both would bring skill and pace to our side.
Great post. I would not mind Potter at all. He has a clear idea of the kind of attacking/possession football that he wants to play. Whenever I have seen Brighton play they have always looked like a team that could score and would create chances no matter who the opposition was. Conte is the top...
Kean has not really been given a chance has he. When you're 19 and have moved to another country it will be difficult. I thought Dunc made a bad call, and my immediate reaction was "...this will make him leave. God I hope Ancelotti will have more faith in him.". Just need to get Ancelotti now :)
He would instantly become the best player ever to wear an Everton shirt. People either love or loathe him, but there is no denying that he is one of the best players there has ever been, and will still score goals for fun.
