1. He is for sale at a quoted price of £80m.
2. The fans, although not happy, recognise that he should be playing in a better side. I'm not sure any "uproar" would help.
3. Not nearly as much.
4. "Seeking Investors" would be a more realistic description.
"convinced" is a bit strong. We are Palace after all. More likely that he'll stay is the general view. His agent (brother) is trying to make it happen. Not convinced anyone else is.
Yes, agreed. But Chelsea may appeal and succeed. Batshauyi then would be better than Tosun now (imo) and Chelsea are more likely to be in Europe than either Everton or Palace in a years time.
Still, a risk, as you say.
I'm definitely not ITK. I think Palace are desperate to keep him and have priced him deliberately at a level that is too rich for most. I don't think he wants to leave London and is more likely to wait until Chelsea's transfer embargo is over. Plus Palace would love Batshuai (sp?) in exchange...
Just having a josh mate. We're not realistically aiming higher than Everton this season or probably for the foreseeable future. We're not in the same market because we're making Selhurst even grander in the near term.
I agree McCarthy would be good if fit but we don't really need a DM and imho...
