Even £5mill is excellent business by both teams. We get a decent fee for both who are not in the managers plans, plus get them off the wage bill. Sunderland get 2 good PL proven players who will be excellent additions (proven Gibson stays fit) for pennies in todays terms.

I could see Burnley accepting £20mill for Keane as he is out of contract in the summer and hs said he wont sign a new deal. They will only get about £6-7 mill at a tribunal.
Im sure he has but for all the great work he's doing and players he's getting ready for the first team, this is the biggest judgement call he will probably ever make. If he gets this wrong it could be terrible for the club and some of the bright youngsters we have.

That would be my worry, should he be around our youth players? Maybe get him in to do a speech about what went wrong and how he went off track etc but I dont like the idea of him leading one or two of our youngstes off course.
