I think they'll have seen most media saying that the punishment is far too severe for the crime there's no way it's getting increased.. if anything it will be along the lines of remaining at 10 points but with with 5 being suspended. The only worry I have is that after the appeal they increase it to 12 points. I'm basing that on the stories from the other week.
And they definitely did get a sporting advantage. And this is the angle Everton (and us as fans have to get the media onside with this) have to attack them.
You can't have someone on the panel who they themselves were part of an investigation where they broke the rules but were only given a fine.
It is a pretty limited bunch of players quality wise but compared to our peers I think we hold up pretty well on mentality and character.
However, I do agree this will have a big dent on player morale that I think is being underestimated on here by some who feel we will just be able to breeze by the promoted clubs.
We have a pretty tough set of fixtures coming up so could find ourselves detached. If we stay up it will go to the wire IMO
People should put the appeal out of their minds. You see a lot of people thinking it will be reduced but the opinions of the legal experts are that there is very little chance of this
Decembers fixtures are very hard for us too....Because we want DOOM!!!
We really shouldn't be accepting any point deduction for off field breeches.I think they'll have seen most media saying that the punishment is far too severe for the crime there's no way it's getting increased.. if anything it will be along the lines of remaining at 10 points but with with 5 being suspended.
Of course.. but we are demonstrably dogshit at that kind of thing.. hell we even once got banned from European competition due to the actions of others. We really shouldn't be accepting any point deduction for off field breeches.

this element is the most bizarre bit, we’ve been done for falling foul of financial sustainability regulations, while at the same time acknowledging the owner is mintedTotally normal to have to adjust to a foreign war. Sensible punishments decided to be inappropriate due to the wealth of the owner - the owner is NOT being investigated, the CLUB/company is. That one is ludicrous and should be demolished on appeal.
Listening to the news this morning while bringing the young lad to Basketball traning.. not a mention of it in the sports section, less than 24 hours ago the biggest punishment in league history was handed out and it's forgotten about. What stings most about all of this, is the people who overseen all of this have mostly moved on and the figurehead is in the middle of hatching his own escape.
Leaving the fans as the only ones their complete mismanagement is affecting.
And they've gone about it by appointing an outside regulator to punish us.Knowing it's Everton they will add " Frivolous appeal" and double the points deduction, we are the example, to stop the Premier league being outside relegated.
The main difference in what we've done compared to them is not being successful. Can anyone explain the differences between what Everton have done and what city have done?
Why were city not handed a points deduction immediately like we were? Do they just have better lawyers?
I’m guessing the latter..
Our case was more straightforward. Can anyone explain the differences between what Everton have done and what city have done?
